Engineering services provider Nova Systems International and vertical lift and search and rescue solutions provider Bristow Group Nova Systems International have announced a new partnership, aimed at providing mission system and aircraft modification solutions on AW139 helicopters deployed by the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard (DCCG).
Specifically, Nova Systems International has been tasked with delivering a next-generation mission system solution designed to expand operational capability and ensure aircraft availability in a shorter timeframe.
The company reportedly developed an offering incorporating technologies and operator interfaces built to expand Bristow’s search and rescue (SAR) capabilities.
Nova Systems has been contracted for a turnkey solution, which includes mission system selection, design and architecture, complex procurement, production, modification design, certification, systems level operator and engineering training, systems level documentation, installation support, flight testing, and through-life mission system support.
“This collaboration creates a foundation for high performance and success, providing the DCCG with the most advanced tools to deliver maritime safety and security,” Gareth Dyer, Nova Systems International managing director, said.
“…The signature of the DCCG contract is a significant milestone for Nova Systems and is underpinned by our ability to leverage our impressive cross-business capability portfolio to develop bespoke solutions that exactly meet operational requirements.”
