The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is hosting its annual Student-Industry Networking Night. The 2017 event is organised by the society’s student branches in the University of Sydney (AIAA-USSB), the University of New South Wales (AIAA-UNSW), and the recently-formed University of Technology Sydney (PAAS-UTS). The event seeks to connect professionals from companies such as yourself with current high-performing engineering undergraduates.
The student branches are volunteer student-run organisations that endeavour to promote professional development and relationships throughout study at university. With your support, we can build on the success of our 2016 event at a larger venue this September to host guests from a wider array of engineering specialisations with broader industrial connections.
Such an event poses wide-ranging benefits for students and members of the aerospace engineering industry. Undergraduates are keen to learn about the current state of Australia’s aerospace industry and gain insight about their future. This is a perfect occasion for potential employers to connect with high achieving students.
