Military Airlift Asia-Pacific

Date: Sunday 8 July 2012
Location: Singapore

Military Airlifting has seen steady growth in the Asia-Pacific region due to the increase in natural disasters which have happened in the last couple of years. Airlifting has been used during the Christchurch Earthquake, Queensland Floods, Tsunami 2004, and Tsunami 2011 in Japan, Earthquakes in China and most recently during the Thailand Floods in November 2011. There is a growing need for regional Air Forces to improve their current airlifting capabilities with the latest modern military airlifters. The airlifters being used by the armed forces at present are becoming aging and not up to the requirements needed to support tactical and strategic operations.

Military Airlift: Rapid Reaction and Tanker Operations Asia Pacific 2012 is the perfect opportunity to meet with the regional airlift community and discuss current requirements and evaluate recent airlifter operations. The conference and exhibition will be held on the 9th and 10th July in Singapore and is the only event where this community can meet together to discuss the regions capabilities and requirements. Running parallel next to the conference will be a vibrant exhibition that will allow vendors to showcase their solutions and technologies for airlifting.
