Airport security is at the core of all airport management; it is the eternal theme of safe air-transit operations. However, managements across Asia are being hard-pressed to focus more on airport security in response to the proliferating terrorist threats and the increasing air traffic owing to the economic growth. Clearly then the recent findings of Frost & Sullivan, that the Asia Pacific airport security market revenue is estimated to reach $9.2 billion by 2015, is well qualified.
