The ASPI Women, Peace and Security Masterclass is a one-day intensive event that will give participants a strategic overview of the global challenges facing efforts to strengthen women, peace and security nearly 20 years since the adoption of the first Security Council resolution codifying the agenda in the year 2000. Following opening remarks from our keynote international speaker Clare Hutchinson, NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, participants will hear from a range of WPS specialists from civil society, government, and the national security community who will talk on - and debate - a range of topics.
