The Naval Shipbuilding College is hosting Australia’s inaugural two-day Navy, Industry and Academia Training Conference.
It brings together training practitioners and thought leaders from across Defence, industry and academic organisations that support the Defence training effort.
Participants will have access to big idea pitching and presentations, industry networking events; and practical activities focused on learning theory, training delivery and technology in training.
Topics will include accelerated young people’s learning, expectations of new technologies, the critical role of collaboration between Defence, academia and industry, virtual and gamification learning and the transfer of corporate knowledge.
The conference will also examine the Naval Shipbuilding College’s integral role to support the nation’s continuous Naval Shipbuilding Program.
