GeoInt is quickly becoming part of every day operations in both defence and the intelligence world. Every piece of data, every image and every bit of intelligence has spatial coordinates and can be put on a map. With information overload, and the need to quickly deliver data and analysis to users on the ground, GeoInt has to grow its capability, scope and interoperability. Most defence and national security agencies around the world are currently working on integrating all parts of their GIS data infrastructure and intelligence into one easily accessible and interoperable picture, with geo information at the core of every data set, situational awareness concept or in-theatre operational picture.
