As part of the reinforcement, SfS technical director Russell Norman travelled to Exail’s facilities in Brest, France.
The visit highlighted the ongoing close collaboration between the two companies as they continue to refine and develop the integration of SfS’ world-leading Mine Warfare Tactical Command Software (MINTACS) with Exail’s UMISOFT system.
The partnership is focused on continuous research and development, ensuring the ongoing enhancement of vital mine countermeasure (MCM) capabilities for NATO and allied naval forces.
Based in Sydney, SfS brings a wealth of local expertise in mine warfare tactical systems to the partnership, ensuring the seamless integration of MINTACS. This advanced collaboration is set to deliver next-generation unmanned solutions to navies around the world, including the Royal Australian Navy, which recently renewed its MINTACS in-service support contract for an additional 10 years.
“We are excited to work closely with Exail to deliver cutting-edge unmanned solutions,” Norman said.
“By leveraging our local experience in mine countermeasure systems, we will ensure the seamless integration of MINTACS, empowering navies like Australia’s with next-generation capabilities.”
Daniel Scourzic, Exail’s MCM DW product line director, said the company’s enduring partnership with SfS was built on continuous refinement and innovation.
“Through ongoing research and development, we are improving the integration of MINTACS with UMISOFT, ensuring that navies worldwide benefit from state-of-the-art MCM solutions,” he said.
“Together, we are delivering operational superiority in the most demanding maritime environments.”
