Western Australian metal 3D printing manufacturer Aurora Labs has entered into a strategic partnership with a subsidiary of Orion Sovereign Group.

Both companies will collaborate on the development of 3D-printed propulsion systems and critical components for next-generation uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAV).
“This collaboration will leverage Aurora Labs’ expertise in cutting-edge 3D metal printing to deliver cost-effective and rapidly deployable propulsion solutions,” Aurora Labs said in a company statement.
“By sharing insights into aerospace technologies and printing methods, we aim to enhance the performance, reliability, and productivity of components for micro gas turbines.
“As global demand for sovereign capabilities grows, this partnership marks a major step towards ensuring that Australia remains at the forefront of innovative and reliable propulsion technology.”
