Now in its seventh consecutive year, the Australian Defence Industry Awards recognise the people and businesses propelling the industry forward rather than showcasing the latest products and platforms.
The Australian Defence Industry Awards acknowledge all defence industry stakeholders, from primes, SMEs, academic institutions and associations to high-performing individuals such as defence executives, Indigenous and female leaders, students, scientists, technicians, and academics.
Nominations and submissions will open in March 2025.
The awards are open to all businesses operating in Australia supporting the defence supply chain and have become a desirable accolade for individuals and businesses seeking to forge a role in the defence industry.
The Australian Defence Industry Awards’ black-tie and mess dress gala ceremony will be held on Thursday, 10 July 2025, at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
Last year, Kieran Hynes, founder of 100 per cent Indigenous-owned and operated cyber security services firm Willyama Services, took home the coveted Excellence Award for being the highest-scoring individual winner.
Other winners across both individual and company categories included Raytheon Australia, Silentium Defence, Aurecon, Nova Systems, AeroPM, and BAE Systems Australia.
