Defence Connect has launched a new category for the 2022 Australian Defence Industry Awards, recognising those businesses who have made the greatest impact supporting Australian defence SMEs and Australian industry capability.
The AIC Champion will have a proven track record of supporting Australian defence businesses, enhancing their participation in the defence industry through program partnerships, access to global supply chains and facilitating the development of internal capabilities.
The award is open to all specialties, whether land, aerospace, cyber, naval, space, weapons and weapons systems, systems engineering and integration, C4ISR, multi-domain, OEMs and all other defence-related areas.
“This award recognises those businesses who have gone above and beyond to help facilitate SME growth and develop Australian industrial capability,” William Magee, director, commercial growth – law, defence and security at Momentum Media, said.
“We are excited to acknowledge those businesses who have prioritised developing Australian defence innovation, supply chain resilience and future growth.”
