The rapid growth of the site reflects the evolution of the Australian defence industry, as growing opportunities for primes and SMEs in defence procurement have sparked a greater demand for market intelligence.
Defence Connect set out to deliver breaking news to the industry as well as meeting the needs of a rapidly rising digital audience for analysis, insight and opinion across multiple interconnected mediums.
As well as building a strong following within government, ministerial, CASG and the Department of Defence, the brand connects with the industry at all levels of academia and policy think tanks.
According to Defence Connect director Phillip Tarrant, the site’s growth is in line with a resurgent defence industry that now depends on analysis of core developments as they unfold.
