Titomic Limited has entered into a reseller agreement with ADS, Inc — a tier-1 military supplier of tactical equipment, procurement, logistics, government contract management, and supply chain solutions.
As part of the agreement, ADS — which is reportedly the largest supplier to the United States Department of Defense and Department of Energy — is expected to possess the non-exclusive right to market and sell Titomic Kinetic Fusion Systems within the United States.
This includes low-to-medium pressure cold spray systems like Titomic’s D523 and D623, automated integrated spray booth units, and high-pressure Titomic Kinetic Fusion additive manufacturing systems.
Applications of the solutions range from additive manufacturing, coating and repair, and research and development.
In return, ADS has agreed to facilitate Titomic’s expansion within the United States, offering commercial experience and capacity.
ADS reportedly employs over 180 staff across the United States, which includes a board of advisors comprised of seven senior, former military personnel.
Titomic’s latest partnership with ADS builds on previous reseller deals established with MSI Viking and Triton Systems, and the acquisition of Tri-D Dynamics.
“Titomic welcomes ADS as a reseller,” Herbert Koeck, managing director of Titomic, said.
“The commercial reach and deep expertise of ADS within established sectors such as defence and energy will be invaluable to Titomic’s growth.
“Titomic can further scale its expansion in the USA through its US partnerships and quickly capitalise on the vast commercial opportunities that lay ahead in the region.”
Titomic’s partnership with ADS represents the company’s latest push to strengthen its global posture.
In August, Repkon Foreign Trade and Marketing — a sister company of Repkon Machine and Tool Industry and Trade — agreed to become an official reseller of Titomic Limited systems across the defence and aerospace sector in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Saudi Arabia.
Repkon is expected to leverage its existing market access and knowledge to sell Titomic’s manufacturing systems, consumables, and service contracts.
This built on a comprehensive joint venture agreement between the companies in June 2022, set to involve the establishment of the world’s first hybrid cold spray manufacturing facility to supply barrels in the defence sector.
