Delivered over four weeks, the course will be delivered in person by the company’s leading T&E practitioners.
Content will include scientific test and analysis techniques to test systems-of-systems and joint force assurance, as well as teaching students how to apply synthetic modelling and simulation in complex T&E environments while validating the results.
Parts of the course will provide hands-on experience such as providing participants with the opportunity to practise on the company’s remotely piloted air vehicles.
As a registered training organisation, Nova has taught over 2,700 technical professionals.
Tim Grabert, Nova Systems test and evaluation capability lead, explained that participants will learn firsthand from the company’s experts.
“The Nova Systems T&E Advanced Practitioners Course is an Australian-first. Everything delivered in the course is best practice.
“The course will teach advanced theory of T&E techniques and T&E modelling and simulation using live mission systems during live test scenarios.
“Our most experienced consultants will be delivering the course, all of which have worked on Australia’s major Defence strategic projects, meaning participants will be learning first-hand from people at the top of their field.”
The first course is scheduled for the second half of the year.
“The advanced training package will not only teach advanced theory of T&E techniques, it will also give participants hands-on T&E modelling and simulation experience using live mission systems during live test scenarios,” he continued.
“At the end of the new Nova Systems T&E Advanced Practitioners Course, participants will leave with greater knowledge and experience they can apply to their work every day.
“It will ultimately support our nation with the much-needed capability we require to support keeping our future generations safe and secure.”
