Australian-based government relations firm Pyne & Partners and US government relations firm Baker Donelson have announced a new strategic alliance, delivering enhanced support to their existing clients and leveraging opportunities afforded by the AUKUS agreement.

The announcement was made at an event in Washington, DC.
Under the agreement, both companies will bring their unique expertise and resources to deepen their cross-border cooperation, supporting the mutual interests of their clients in Australia and the United States.
The announcement will deepen business collaboration “across the Pacific,” Christopher Pyne, chairman of Pyne & Partners and former defence minister, explained.
“We are delighted to join forces with Baker Donelson, a highly respected and experienced American firm,” Pyne said.
“This strategic alliance is a testament to the ever-strengthening relationship between Australia and the United States, and we are confident that it will create new opportunities for our clients and foster greater cooperation across the Pacific."
The strategic alliance is scheduled to commence immediately. Clients are expected to benefit from the combined resources of both parties.

The announcement comes shortly after Pyne & Partners announced their expansion into Brisbane, headed by senior associate William Redmond.
The Brisbane local has spent a decade in Canberra working within government and the private sector, and will coordinate government relations, crisis communications, and business development for the new Brisbane office.
