“As the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency transforms security work around the globe, SAIC looks forward to advancing support for user communities,” said Michael LaRouche, president of the National Security and Space sector at Science Applications International Corp (SAIC), in an announcement.

SAIC will be providing work on systems architecture development and planning, networking, storage and database engineering, and service desk support, as well as cyber security and application development.

SAIC is already looking to fill new roles to support the One IT project. The company has posted a job ad on its website calling for IT professionals and engineers with a range of skills and experience. The roles range from cyber security specialists to cloud and virtual desktop engineers. Cloud roles are also a focus.

The various posts are spread across the US, and all roles will require a Secret-level clearance.

“Our goal is to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the agency’s One IT infrastructure by leveraging the experience of our proven team of cloud architects, modernisation engineers, and integration specialists,” LaRouche said.

“We are eager to begin work with DCSA on this critical IT modernisation program and deliver network availability anytime, anywhere, and under any circumstances.”
