Valid until 24 May 2026, the $241,200 contract includes $78,000 of annual recurring licensing revenue for 100 users.
The number of users is expected to grow throughout the licensing period.
According to a release, the global defence contractor, which operates across the air, land, and sea domains, selected the extranet service to enable the secure sharing of information across the supply chain and with their clients.
“Babcock Australia is a well-recognised global Defence prime and their selection of Kojensi validates the value it offers to quickly deploy a secure platform for sensitive information exchange,” Daniel Lai, managing director at archTIS said.
“It is an important milestone in our continued drive to make Kojensi the preferred platform for the secure sharing and collaboration of classified information between partners across Defence and the supply chain.”
James Inge, head of IT at Babcock Australasia, explained that the global defence company “rigorously” tested the platform.
“Babcock Australia is pleased to enter into a relationship with archTIS for Kojensi services. We went through a rigorous process to evaluate a platform that not only met our user’s requirements but our stringent security requirements as a Defence prime. Kojensi ticked all the boxes for us,” Inge explained.
Earlier this year, the software solutions provider received a work order from KPMG Australia’s Technology Solutions to provide data-related architecture consulting services for a Defence program.
Valued at $759,000, the services include data taxonomy, modelling, and security for a Defence data program.
The announcement forms the second work order between the two companies for the OneDefence Data Program, having been selected by KPMG Technologies in November to deliver services under Tranche 1 of the project.
The work order is scheduled for completion on Friday, 30 June 2023.
KPMG Australia’s Technology Solutions was selected in April 2022 as the preferred systems integrator to deliver crucial defence data investments, leading a consortium which includes archTIS, Oracle, and Microsoft.
