Adelaide-based Ebor Systems has announced a collaboration partnership with Babcock Australasia to support the capability enhancement of the nation’s Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS), now to be part of JP 9101 Enhanced DHFCS strategic capability.

Signed earlier this year, Ebor and Babcock will be collaborating over the next four years to refresh and extend the Nullarbor array receiver capability Ebor previously delivered to the JP 2043 Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) capability.
In order to support this exciting collaborative agreement, Ebor Systems has expanded its team of software and HF radio systems developers, and has set up a second premises in Adelaide, South Australia.
Ebor Systems chair Nigel Hall welcomed this milestone agreement, saying, “We are thrilled to be supporting Babcock on this exciting project. This is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our expertise and capabilities, while also working together to achieve a common goal.”
One of the key focuses for Ebor Systems in this project is to increase Australian industry capability (AIC) and the company has achieved this by sourcing more key items from Australian manufacturers and taking on local sub-contractors for new antenna and software components.
This collaborative approach not only benefits the local economy, but also ensures that Ebor Systems has access to the best possible talent and resources.
