Anduril wins US$642m contract to provide counter-UAS capabilities for global Marine facilities

Anduril has been awarded a US$642 million (AU$1.01 billion), 10-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Program of Record by the US Marine Corps to supply, install and maintain its Installation-Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (I-CsUAS).

Anduril’s cutting-edge I-CsUAS solution harnesses artificial intelligence and advanced autonomous technology to equip the US Marine Corps with the necessary hardware and software to counter evolving aerial threats and protect military installations globally over the next decade.

This program underscores Anduril’s leadership in counter-unmanned aerial system (CUAS) technology, delivering 24/7 autonomous operations powered by Lattice, the company’s advanced AI software platform. Lattice autonomously detects, tracks, identifies and neutralises aerial threats, enabling human operators to make critical decisions swiftly and efficiently with minimal personnel involvement.

Taking a software-first approach, Anduril’s integrated system offers comprehensive protection tailored to the specific needs of each installation. The company’s solution seamlessly integrates multiple sensors and effectors into an intuitive, shared command and control interface. With an open architecture framework, it facilitates rapid updates and enhancements, ensuring the US Marine Corps remains equipped with the most advanced defence capabilities throughout the 10-year contract period.

This latest contract expands Anduril’s partnership with the US Marine Corps following a US$200 million (AU$318.22 million) agreement in November to develop and supply a CUAS Engagement System for the Marine Air Defense Integrated System. To meet increasing demand for its defence solutions, Anduril has invested in Arsenal-1, an industry-leading manufacturing facility designed to produce autonomous systems at scale through software-driven processes.

Arsenal-1 will ensure the rapid deployment of defence systems worldwide while maintaining flexibility to adapt to future operational requirements.

The scope of this program highlights the US Marine Corps’ commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to safeguard personnel and critical assets from modern aerial threats. By incorporating autonomous capabilities, Anduril is transforming an urgent security requirement into a sustainable, scalable defence solution.
