Tickets are running out as the countdown is in for AIDN Queensland’s breakfast forum with Defence Industry Minister Steven Ciobo this Friday, 26 October.

AIDN-Qld (Australian Industry Defence Network) and the Queensland state government (Defence Industries Queensland, Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning) are hosting an industry breakfast, Meet the Minister, providing the opportunity to meet and directly engage with the new Defence Industry Minister.
Minister Ciobo will speak on his plans for the future as Minister for the Defence Industry, building on his previous role as the minister for trade, tourism and investment.
AIDN-Qld president and AIDN National vice president Carl Quarterman said, "AIDN-Qld has been going from strength to strength this year, more than doubling our membership numbers."
As part of the Eventbrite registration link, attendees will be able to submit questions for Minister Ciobo that will be sent to his office and he will answer some of these questions after his speech.
Following this, the floor will be opened to the audience for a few more questions.
"We are excited to host Minister Ciobo and hear his thoughts on the future of the Defence industry. Minister Ciobo has really hit the ground running as soon as he was appointed the Minister for the Defence Industry, which is fantastic to see," Quarterman said.
In his role as minister for trade, tourism and investment, Minister Ciobo engaged with the international investment community to promote and facilitate foreign investment into Australia. In this capacity, Minister Ciobo oversaw the total stock of foreign investment rise by more than $233 billion.
