Leidos Australia CEO Christine Zeitz has announced the appointment of Andrew Mannix as director of the company’s defence mission systems division.

Mannix is currently general manager of production and remanufacturing at Liebherr-Australia's mining division, where he established a state of the art greenfield manufacturing facility.
Zeitz said she was delighted to welcome Mannix to the position, saying, "Andrew has significant experience in managing complex projects and in developing innovative solutions to the evermore challenging problems faced by our Defence Force. His appointment strengthens our executive leadership team and he joins at an exciting time for Leidos Australia."
Mannix's previous roles have a record of delivery to the Australian defence customer as GM surveillance and protection systems, GM defence logistics and GM products and support group at BAE Systems.
Leidos Australia's defence mission systems division includes a number of individual sectors, including:
- Airborne: Leidos provides support across airborne capabilities including maintenance, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance with all the armed services.
- Maritime: Providing support to help naval clients understand the ocean and protect maritime interests.
- Command and control: Supporting the development and implementation of next-generation mission command solutions enabling decision-making functions for defence and intelligence agencies.
"Andrew will draw on his experience to ensure we deliver on our commitments and leverage Leidos global capability to help our customers meet their mission," Zeitz added.
