The Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA) is the largest land warfare exposition in North America. Each year it attracts approximately 30,000 attendees and 700+ exhibitors from the worldwide defence community.
Taking place over three days, AUSA brings together the global defence and security sector to highlight the capabilities of Army organisations while showcasing the latest equipment, industry products, systems and services.
AUSA provides a forum to promote Australian capabilities and innovation among US defence industry executives and relevant defence leadership.
Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America's Army and the men and women who serve.
AUSA’s annual meeting includes the total Army – regular Army, guard, reserve, civilians and family members. It is one of the three key communication platforms employed by the Army to educate and inform government, academic, civic and veteran advocates and leadership on Army priorities and issues impacting today’s Army.
The TDA showcase at the 2019 AUSA exhibition provides a chance for Australian companies and industry leaders to develop international business opportunities. In particular, TDA is looking for exhibitors that focus on:
- Future vertical lift;
- Next-generation combat vehicles;
- Long-range precision fire;
- Advanced protection;
- Expeditionary mission command;
- Robotics and autonomous systems; and
- Training modernisation.
Key stakeholders supporting the TDA project include: the Australian Defence Export Office, Centre for Defence Industry Capability, Capability and Sustainment Group - Washington, all state and territory governments, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Austrade and global supply chain primes.
