Defence is encouraging businesses across the country to promote their capabilities in the upcoming Australian Defence Sales Catalogue.

Applications for the sixth edition of the 2022 Australian Defence Sales Catalogue have now opened, designed to promote products and services delivered by local firms to global customers.
The catalogue also features an export support section to bolster business competitiveness in international markets.
Minister for Defence Industry Melissa Price encouraged businesses to participate, noting previous beneficiaries of the catalogue, including:
- South Australia-based REDARC Electronics;
- West Australia-based Matrix Composites and Engineering;
- Victoria-based Supacat;
- NSW-based Zone Products Australia; and
- Queensland-based Norship.
“This is just one way the Morrison government is helping Australian businesses to promote their businesses to key international partners, and to help to expand their business opportunities following a challenging 18 months,” Minister Price said.
“… I encourage all Australian defence industry businesses to register their interest in participating in the 2022 Australian Defence Sales Catalogue.”
Submissions for a spot in the catalogue close on 26 September 2021.
This latest effort to bolster industry access to global markets follows the launch of an independent review earlier this week.
The review is set to focus on facilitating new international business opportunities via the supply chains of eight multinational contractors.
Former senior Australian public servant and policymaker Lisa Paul, AO, PSM, has been tapped to lead the Global Supply Chain Program review, which forms part of a broader push to reform defence industry support initiatives.
Minister Price released the Terms of Reference of the review, launched in response to recommendations from the Centre for Defence Industry Capability, which continues to manage the Global Supply Chain Program on behalf of Defence.
