Accenture and Pegasystems have rolled out PostingConnect — a new tool built to simplify the relocation process by facilitating secure access to information and services, supporting task management, and streamlining communication.
The platform connects users to all stakeholders involved in the process, including external logistics and housing services providers.
PostingConnect, which includes a mobile app, was designed in consultation with ADF personnel and Defence stakeholders in a bid to identify solutions that can eliminate unnecessary, disruptive, and repetitive tasks.
Greg Tickle, director of digital service delivery at the Department of Defence, welcomed the new platform, which he said would help enhance the lives of ADF members and their families.
“Based on the satisfaction and feedback from ADF members, the PostingConnect platform has been a huge success and has transformed the department for the better,” Tickle said.
Matt Gollings, global defence industry lead at Accenture, said the tool would deliver a “marked improvement” to the posting experience of users.
“By focusing on human experience and streamlining burdensome administrative tasks, digital transformation initiatives such as PostingConnect can reduce the strains of relocation and provide resources back to Defence through more efficient process,” Gollings said.
An estimated 20,000 ADF personnel and their families relocate each year, settling into new homes, schools, and jobs, either interstate or overseas, while simultaneously preparing for the demands of their new role.
“Pega is gratified to be delivering such an innovative and supportive solution for the Department of Defence’s personnel,” Michael Evans, vice president ANZ at Pegasystems, added.
“It’s a privilege to be able to improve the lives of our service men and women who are willing to relocate for the betterment of the country.”
