Frazer-Nash Consultancy has named Rita Arrigo as the new digital innovation lead of its defence division.
Arrigo joins the firm from Microsoft, where she served as chief digital advisor over the past five years, tasked with leveraging emerging technology to spearhead digital transformation.
Arrigo holds extensive experience across a number of organisations in the technology space, including the Institute for Drone Technology, CloudBug, and SMS Management & Technology.
Frazer-Nash’s new digital innovation lead also currently serves as the deputy director for the Centre for Industrial AI Research and Innovation (CIAIRI) at RMIT University.
Arrigo welcomed the opportunity to lead Frazer-Nash’s digital offering amid a growth in demand for secure IT services in the defence space, particularly across cyber, autonomous systems, AI, augmented reality, radar and sensor capability.
“As military operations become increasingly data-driven, timely access to accurate trusted information and applications is critical for the Australian Defence Force,” she said.
“My focus is driving significant innovation for Defence clients.”
