The campaign pays tribute to the incredible work of our Defence and veteran community, acknowledging them and their service in the lead up to Remembrance Day.
According to Soldier On CEO Ivan Slavich, this is a great opportunity for our generous donors and corporate partners to come together and double their support of our veteran community.
“As part of this year’s campaign, we would like to draw attention to the work of our ADF personnel who assist the Australian community, and communities around the world. From war zones to peacekeeping missions, natural disasters to emergency responses and so much more,” Slavich said.
"In sharing these stories, we highlight and celebrate the fantastic work of our current and ex-serving personnel and the diverse operations that bring tremendous support to those in need.”
Commencing from 10am Tuesday, 9 November for 24 hours, Soldier On is urging the Australian public to donate during the 24-hour period and create a tribute page where they can honour a friend, loved one or simply pay their respects to our veteran community in support of the matched giving campaign.
Funds raised through this campaign will go directly to the services that Soldier On provides to our nation’s current and ex-service personnel and their families.
Every donation made to tribute pages during Soldier On’s giving day will be matched.
To donate or make a tribute page, head to the Soldier On website.
