This includes the management of finance, health and safety, environment, IT and quality, and Shoal Group’s supply chain.

The new appointee, who joins Shoal’s corporate leadership team, holds over 15 years of global experience in commercial, engineering, operations and project management within the defence, aerospace, energy, civil construction, and engineering consulting sectors.

Greenhalf’s previous employers include Babcock International Group, Clarke Energy, and UK firm BAM Nuttall.

CEO of Shoal, Michael Waite, welcomed the appointment, which he said reflects the company’s recent growth.

“This is an exciting year for Shoal, as we expand across the country and further into New Zealand across defence, space, transport and infrastructure,” he said.

“Paul’s experience in major defence and aviation programs complements our corporate leadership team and brings a new dynamic to the business.

“From a perspective of continuous improvement and project management, we are now even more strongly positioned for growth.”

Greenhalf said he looks forward to helping drive Shoal Group’s growth strategy.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Shoal team to help achieve the vision of being an iconic company in systems thinking,” he said.

“As an engineer, I appreciate Shoal’s investment in people, processes and tools to build knowledge through a systems approach that delivers real capability and benefits to our clients.”
