Held on the 1st 0f April, the Defence Connect Budget Lunch delivers exclusive analysis from Australia’s leading political decision makers as they grapple with the federal budget, and its impact on the defence industry.

It has been revealed that this year’s Budget Lunch is kindly supported by Platinum Partner Precision Public Affairs (PPA) as well as gold partners EY, Leidos and Rohde & Schwarz.

Expected to be delivered on 29 March, the federal budget will chart the course for Australia’s defence and national security priorities over the coming years. Analysts tip defence to remain a key priority for the government with the recent war in Ukraine and growing tensions in the Indo-Pacific.

Hosted by veteran journalist and international affairs editor at the ABC Stan Grant, the live-stream will allow attendees the opportunity to hear from and interact with some of the top decision makers in the defence industry.

Speakers include Minister for Defence Industry Melissa Price, Shadow Minister for Defence Matt Keogh, and founder and managing director of Precision Public Affairs Sarah Cullens, who will dive into the Coalition’s and Labor’s plans for the defence industry.

Don’t miss the chance to be involved in the livestream and hear directly from the nation’s key political decision makers as they discuss the future of Defence and the defence industry.
