BMT appoints new regional business director

International design, engineering, science and technology consultancy BMT has appointed a new regional business director to continue its growth in the Asia-Pacific.

International design, engineering, science and technology consultancy BMT has appointed a new regional business director to continue its growth in the Asia-Pacific.

The company has today (6 May 2022) confirmed that Graeme Nayler has been appointed Asia-Pacific regional business director, as the company gears up to significantly invest in the region.

Prior to his appointment, Nayler served as a non-executive director at the Environmental Group and as chief strategy officer at Silentium Defence. He has also served in senior executive roles for both Nova Systems and Babcock following a 15-year career as an officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.

“We are thrilled to have Graeme stepping into this new role, he will oversee the Asia-Pacific business and lead all aspects of delivery, to drive improved project performance and continued growth, as well as overall leadership within the region,” Guy Tomlinson, programmes director at BMT said. 

“Graeme is an accomplished business manager with a successful track record of P&L management and will be a great addition to not only our Asia-Pacific leadership but to the global team.”

Nayler has welcomed the opportunity to serve BMT’s current and future customer base in one of the world’s fastest growing regions.

“I look forward to driving investment and working with partners and customers in one of the fastest-growing regions in the world. I will be looking to drive significant traction with the team in developing our products and services to better serve our Asia-Pacific customers," Nayler said.

“I have broad experience working across different industries and am excited to lead BMT’s potential across environment, infrastructure, and defence in the region. I want to help realise that potential which will bring benefit to all employees and our customers.” 

According to BMT, Nayler is expected to be based in Adelaide.
