APV Safety Products has been recognised as Ground Vehicle & Aviation Seating Supplier of the Year by BAE Systems.

APV Safety Products has been recognised as Ground Vehicle & Aviation Seating Supplier of the Year by BAE Systems.

The global prime recognised local vehicle safety company APV Safety Products as the Ground Vehicle & Aviation Seating Supplier of Year at the company’s fourth annual “Partner2Win” Symposium.

APV Safety Products in a division of Melbourne-based APV Corporation, providing aftermarket seatbelt and restraints with 50 per cent of the company’s sales overseas.

BAE Systems established the awards to recognise suppliers across the company’s supply chain, to achieve the desired solutions for their customers.

Harry Hickling, managing director of APV Corporation, explained that the company is proud to play an essential role in keeping Australian and US servicepeople safe.

“Both companies value the relationship and to be awarded this prestigious and important award is a fantastic recognition for our partnership in working together. The award reflects our performance within the entire Global Supply Chain of BAE's aviation and land systems division,” Hickling said.

“The award reflects APV's value-added relationship in delivering Safety Critical Military Occupant restraints into BAE's U.S. manufacturing facilities.

“I am proud of APV's role in keeping [Australian] and US soldiers and marines safe in the worlds most advanced amphibious and land vehicles.”
