Team Defence Australia (TDA) is seeking expressions of interest for the 2018 Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA) to be held in Washington from 7-10 October 2018.
The annual exhibition attracts approximately 30,000 attendees including key military decision makers, Army leaders, US Army and multinational delegations, with 700+ industry contributors annually.
AUSA brings together the global defence and security sector to highlight the capabilities of Army organisations while providing the opportunity to showcase the latest equipment, industry products, systems and services from around the globe.
The TDA showcase at the 2018 AUSA exhibition provides an chance for Australian companies and industry leaders to develop international business opportunities. In particular, TDA are looking for exhibitors that focus on:
- Future vertical lift;
- Next-generation combat vehicles;
- Long-range precision fire;
- Advanced protection;
- Expeditionary mission command;
- Robotics and autonomous systems (RAS); and
- Training modernisation.
Key stakeholders supporting the TDA project include: the Australian Defence Export Office, Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC), Capability and Sustainment Group - Washington, all state and territory governments, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Austrade and global supply chain primes.
Exhibiting with TDA is free, with successful companies responsible for their individual expenses. To support this, individual state and territory governments, along with the Export Development Grant Program (EMDG), will be providing grant assistance for eligible participants.
