TDA calls for Aussie export-ready companies to attend DSEI

Team Defence Australia (TDA) has announced that expressions of interest are now open for Australian export-ready companies interested in showcasing their products and services at Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) in London.

Team Defence Australia (TDA) has announced that expressions of interest are now open for Australian export-ready companies interested in showcasing their products and services at Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) in London.

DSEI is one of the largest defence and security shows in the world, with DSEI 2019 having five key domain-focused zones – aerospace, land, naval, security and joint all showcasing the latest equipment and systems. DSEI 2019 will see 1,600 exhibitors and 35,000 attendees from over 50 countries.

TDA is the branding used overseas to symbolise the partnership between the Australian Department of Defence and Australian defence industry. It is a globally recognised and respected brand that signifies the Australian government’s support of Australia's defence industry exporters.

The TDA banner is proudly displayed at major international defence exhibitions, and is at the forefront of Australian defence trade missions to engage global customers.

TDA will provide support to the delegation of defence industry companies attending DSEI, including:

  • Pre-event support and advice;
  • Senior military level support and advocacy at the trade show;
  • A space on the custom-built Team Defence Australia pavilion;
  • Access to facilities and meeting rooms at the event;
  • Participation in the full TDA program, including briefings, networking and B2B activities;
  • Exhibitor passes; and
  • Provision of on-site support from TDA representatives at the show.

TDA will provide the support above free of charge – you will need to cover your other costs such as travel, travel insurance, accommodation, freight and additional stand requirements. You may wish to approach your state or territory government to enquire if any support is available for this event.

Austrade will also provide support to delegates through arranging business-to-business meetings with appropriate partners and/or visits to the TDA stand by potential partners. This service will be offered free of charge to all delegates.

Expressions of interest are now open for Australian export-ready companies interested in showcasing their products and services with TDA at DSEI in London, UK from 10-13 September 2019. Note the TDA program will run 8-13 September 2019 and will require a company's commitment to be in country for the period.
