The Russian Defence Ministry event will host representatives of large Russian and foreign defence companies and research and development institutes at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre in Moscow from 14 to 20 August.
The latest edition of the expo, held in 2022, reportedly attracted around 1,500 enterprises, more than $6.2 billion in state orders, and around 28,000 samples of military and dual-purpose products.
Russian defence manufacturer Kalashnikov Concern will present more than 150 military and civilian small arms, rocket and artillery weapons, and special equipment.
“The current forum will be held in the conditions of full understanding of the needs on the part of customers and our readiness to satisfy these needs quickly and efficiently,” said Kalashnikov Concern president Alan Lushnikov.
“We show what we have and what we can offer, and our customers formulate requirements, taking into account the one-and-a-half-year experience of the NWO and its nature.
“If Kalashnikov managed to grow by 80 per cent in shooting range in a year, if the concern was able to dress tens of thousands of servicemen in our uniform in six months, then the holding’s potential is really impressive. I’m talking about run-in, serial production.
“An equally important emphasis will be placed on our new developments within the framework of private shows. We have effective solutions that we can offer customers.”
It’s understood that Kalashnikov Concern will showcase a upgraded versions of the AK-12 assault rifle, a Chukavin sniper rifle, a Kalashnikov PPK-20 submachine gun, MPL, MPL1, PLC pistols, MP-155T 12-gauge hunting rifle, TR9S and TG2S sports and training shotguns; as well as tracked and wheeled chassis models for the Buk-M3, Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems, and the Zoo-1M artillery reconnaissance complex from the Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant.
“Whirlwind-1”, SAM “Strela 9M333”, UAS “Kitolov-2M” rocket, and artillery weapons will also be featured alongside mock-ups of the “BK-16” transport-landing boat and BK-10 high-speed assault boat.
