With 25 years in service with the Royal Navy and now a captain in Navy Command HQ, Captain Tim Green has seen the underwater battlespace from both sides of the periscope.

In this episode of the Defence Connect Podcast, ahead of the upcoming announcement surrounding the SEA 5000 Future Frigate program, Capt Green joins host Phil Tarrant to discuss the nature of the ASW work that he is currently completing within the Royal Navy and to share his thoughts on the importance of integration between the UK and Australia for training purposes in the underwater battlespace.

Believing this to be the most exciting time he has seen in his involvement within the services in terms of ambition and design, Capt Green will look at the importance of current and incoming technology, the challenges it can present and the importance of having the correct training and people involved in and being developed within the defence industry.
