United Aircraft Corporation has handed over Su-34 frontline bombers and an Il-76MD-90A heavy military transport aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The Russian aerospace and defence corporation confirmed it had provided the aircraft after they were manufactured and passed air and ground tests.
The next batch of Su-34 fighter bombers were manufactured at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant and have combat capabilities for destruction of ground and aerial targets.
The Il-76MD-90A “Ilyushin” four-engine turbofan strategic airlifter was manufactured at the Aviastar and is destined for a role in military transport aviation.
United Aircraft Corporation general director Yury Slyusar said Su-34 frontline bombers make up an important part of the strike power of Russian frontline aviation.
“UAC delivers aircraft under the current year program (2023). The batch of Su-34s is the first delivery of tactical aircraft this year. UAC as part of Rostec faces the most important task, to provide the Russian Ministry of Defence with new highly efficient aviation systems,” he said.
“We are fulfilling our obligations under the state defence order in a timely manner, and together with the military, we are carrying out the necessary work to maintain the fleet of aircraft in operation.”
A large-scale technical re-equipment and recruitment campaign is underway to meet increased production demands, according to United Aircraft Corporation.
