Andrew Mailer has been appointed managing director for Australia, joining the company after having recently served as a general manager at Tetra Tech Coffey, and Asia-Pacific head of strategy and growth at Tetra Tech.
The appointment is hoped to drive growth for the company, Beca Group chief executive Amelia Linzey said.

“We want Beca to be more than a hidden gem in Australia. A home to thinkers, designers and problem solvers. Our incredible people are driving our legacy and our future, and we know that we have an important role to play to deliver real impact for our current and future clients.
“We’re authentic, diligent and we have a deep understanding of our clients and the future we want to create together. I’m confident that with Andrew’s leadership, we can expand Beca’s footprint in Australia,” Linzey explained.
Beca has operated in Australia for 55 years and employs over 700 people.
Mailer welcomed the opportunity to support “clients and communities” in his new role as managing director – Australia.
“Beca’s people have skills and capabilities that can contribute to solving some of our communities’ most complex problems.
“I want Beca to have a significant and positive impact on the markets we choose to target. This will result in challenging and exciting work for our people, as well as great outcomes for our clients and communities,” he said.
