Zeitz has been with Northrop Grumman Australia for the past four years, taking over as chief executive from Chris Deeble, now Deputy Secretary responsible for Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
During her time with the company, Zeitz has been responsible for an extensive organisational transformation of Northrop Grumman Australia and supporting the Australian acquisition of MQ-4C Triton remotely piloted aerial systems and was influential in broadening the company’s expanded support across multiple domains.
An experienced C-suite executive and board director, Zeitz is currently the deputy chair and an active board member for SBS Broadcasting and chair of Defence Trailblazer.
As part of the leadership shake-up, Northrop Grumman Australia will reshape its leadership structure, bringing the company in line with the broader Northrop Grumman international business strategy, to support changing market conditions and the local technology portfolios.
A “newly designed”, Canberra-based country executive role will be created to oversee daily senior customer relations and cultivate relationships with the Australian customer, along with streamlining reach-back into the US and global business to support key defence programs like AUKUS and its technology priorities under AUKUS Pillar 2.
In addition, a newly created managing director position will oversee Northrop Grumman’s local business and provide dedicated leadership to drive technical performance and business results.
This position will work closely with the country executive to engage government leadership on business opportunities.
Northrop Grumman has begun the search for the new country executive and managing director roles.
