Gearing up for its fourth year, Raytheon Australia’s GradX participants will be sourced from an array of various disciplines and gain advanced entry into Australia’s defence market.
Core areas of interest for the program include engineering, program management, IT, finance, contracts and supply chain management and communications and marketing.
The program boasts numerous benefits for participants, including a cash payment of $5,000 in the first year after acceptance into the program, priority access for paid internships, assigned mentors and access to Raytheon Australia alumni events.
Raytheon Australia’s managing director Michael Ward explained that the GradX program is designed to attract the best young talent from across the country.
“Raytheon Australia does great work – and we are seeking passionate students to be part of an innovative team environment where they can grow their career and enjoy our unique suite of company benefits designed to support employees through all stages of their careers,” he explained.
“By attracting top young talent into Raytheon Australia, we will also increase the candidate pool for the entire defence industry into the future.”
As part of the GradX program, the undergraduates will be paired with a senior Raytheon Australia mentor and will receive opportunities to undertake professional internships and work experience while completing their final year of university studies.
They will then join the company in a full-time position following the completion of their degree and will be supported with tailored mentoring and career development opportunities.
