The public affairs firm, headed by the former minister for defence Christopher Pyne, has announced the formation of a teaming agreement with defence consultancy Arican to provide enhanced support and advice to defence businesses.

Under the teaming agreement, it is expected that clients of each firm will gain access to the other company’s core offering including tender support, strategic advice, government relations and communications.
Chairman of Pyne and Partners, Christopher Pyne, welcomed the move, noting the benefits that the teaming agreement will have for the defence industry.
“Pyne and Partners has been building a reputation for excellence over the last two years with offices now in Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide. We pride ourselves on our expertise in defence, technology and space and some of our clients are the top companies in these industries in Australia,” Pyne said.
“Pyne and Partners and Arican’s combined knowledge and expertise can be of great benefit to defence industry - we are Australian companies looking to nurture and grow the defence industry in Australia and I look forward to working with Arican closely.”
Mark Stevens, managing director of Arican, noted that the engagement will provide an enhanced offering to Arican’s 250 engagements with international and local defence businesses.
“Arican brings to the table expertise in the intricacies of defence industry strategy, campaigning, tendering and capital raising,” Stevens said.
“By combining our experience and expertise with Pyne and Partners’ knowledge of government, policy, strategic advice, communications and the media, we are able to cover all the requirements defence industry needs.”
